If people are unsure, Cobb and Mal were stuck in Limbo and whilst Cobb knew this and accepted this, Mal began to believe that this was her reality. This is signified when she locks the totem in the safe and its not spinning. She is putting the idea in her head that she is in reality. Cobb knew she did this and went into her subconscious (the safe) to try and make her realise that she is in fact in a dream and needs to wake up. This is signified when he spins the totem and locks it in the safe, her subconscious. However, what Cobb didnt realise is that what happens in limbo then progresses up through each level into reality. So when they were in fact in reality after they killed them selves in limbo, Mal still believed that she was dreaming which is why she killed herself. This is why she was so sure that she was still dreaming but in fact they were both in reality. And this is how Cobb then realised that this was possible to do to Fisher, as he did it to Mal.

Let me begin this review by saying that I finally saw The Bourne Identity the night before. I thought it was decent; action sequences, a rogue agent with no memory of his past; a past haunting him with every step he took. Then I saw Inception. Then I realized, no, I woke up from the standard drawl that has become modern Hollywood, a place where scum and filth has been seeping in the door, with only a few good book adaptations (Harry Potter, The Bourne trilogy, and How to Train Your Dragon)to prevent it from falling completely down the artistic drain. Even the recent action hero remakes couldn’t swoop in to save the day! Finally seeing an original story that makes you think for more than five seconds is, in my book, at least a game changer.

For someone who is planning on going to the marines when i reach 18, this movie has the utter most respect and really demonstrates all that these war heroes have done for us.
I was listening to a Deep trance, mind seed video by Trigram Healing. He mentioned his deep trance video was to go through different layers to the subconscious and plant a seed idea similar to the plot to the movie Inception. So, I watched the movie and really liked it. Saw it twice to understand the movie better. I figured out most of what I didn’t understand. Still, want to understand the ending, but want to see it again and again until I know. loved the music by Hans Zimmer.
My favoriteee movieee, gosh psychological, twists, mistery everything what i want in a movie, i actually prefer this one over inception.
People with a high IQ will probably understand this movie the 2nd time they watch it.
How is the movie impossible to understand its easy to understand -Enter the first dream -Enter the next dream -Enter the third dream and plant the idea WHAM! SIMPLE The only part not to understand is the ending since their can be multiple ending possibilities.
I don’t speak Japanese, Ooo I know I’ll turn on subtitles. shouting in Japanese oh. well I’m glad I barley speak Chinese.

Wow, comments were disabled for the longest time (since 2011. Now they’re here. Anywho, this is my favorite of the Nolan Trilogy. Ties Bruce Wayne and Batman together really well. Lots of good quotes, especially from Liam Neeson’s character. When a forest grows too wild, a purging fire is inevitable and natural.
